Development of an RUB-owned research data repository.

RUB is currently working on the implementation of a Research Data Management System (RDM system) for the central storage of research data at RUB. The RDM system should make it possible to document research data, archive it for 10 years, initiate a review process with other researchers, and - optionally - publish research data.

Test users wanted

Soon we will reach an important milestone in the implementation. With the support of RUB researchers we would like to test the functionalities of the system. For these so-called “beta tests” on the not yet final system we are looking for interested test users.

The tests are scheduled for the end of November/beginning of December. The time required is about two hours and can be self-scheduled within two weeks.

The participation in the tests offers the possibility to shape the last development steps on the way to the final system by feedback.

Information event

If you wish to find out more about the RDM system before deciding to participate in the beta tests, you are cordially invited to the RUB-wide information event on November 16, 2022 from 12-13 pm. The info event will provide an overview of all research data management offerings at RUB.

To register for the info event please use the RUB University Library Course Portal

  1. Name, first name
  2. Email address
  3. Institution (e.g. Faculty, working group, Collaborative Research Center, …)
  4. Role in your institution (e.g. researcher, data steward, science manager, PhD student, student assistant)
