Hello and welcome!
We are the current members of The Student Body of the master program Ethics – Economics, Law & Politics, which was formed in November 2015. Our mission is, generally speaking, to represent EELP students at other university committees and to be a contact person for (prospective) EELP students.
Things we do, amongst others:
• organizing meet ups for EELP students to get to know each other better
• organizing excursions, dinners and other events
• being contact persons for prospective students
• being contact persons for faculty
No matter if you are already an EELP student or just thinking about applying, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the program! We are happy to assist you. Please, also don’t hesitate to write us if you have any suggestions concerning the program or the Student Body.
For all those EELP students coming from abroad: We are happy to assist you with bureaucratic procedures (e.g. fill out forms and accompany you to authorities if necessary).

NEWS
We would like to invite all of you to the General Assembly of the EELP Student Body .
The General Assembly will take place on on the 11th of March 2026 at 16.00 in room GABF 05/508 (room of the EELP student council). The agenda for the Assembly as well as any additional information can be requested by reaching out to the Student Council: studentbody-eelp@ruhr-uni-bochum.de
To help the new EELP students find their feet at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, the student council organised two campus tours and a city tour as part of the O-Woche or orientation week. Due to the international nature of our study and an unusually high number of visa difficulties, the second campus tour and city tour were planned for the end of October. However, as interest in them was not very high, the tours were scrapped and we had a fun Halloween Stammtisch night instead.
