In the cases mentioned below, please always contact the respective secretariat first and not the lecturers directly!

Registration

The registration for the individual courses in history didactics is done regularly via eCampus. Please inform yourself about the corresponding deadlines.

 
Subsequent registration

If the official registration process in History has expired and you are...

    ... have not been assigned to a course,
    ... have been assigned to a course that runs parallel to another course,
    ... or you were not able to register on time (for whatever reason),

we would like to ask you to contact the corresponding office as soon as possible.

• If there are still free seminar places available, you will be re-registered.
• If all places in your desired seminar are occupied, waiting lists will be created by the secretariats. Furthermore, you can be informed about free places in other seminars.
• If the demand cannot be met by the available courses, there is the possibility of "course overbooking" in special cases or, if necessary, the creation of an additional course.

 
Deregistration

If you miss the deregistration deadline for a course and you did not attend the course/ did not perform (please refer to eCampus for the dates), you will be given a "fail". In exceptional cases (illness, etc.), you can also deregister after the deadline by contacting the secretary's office.

If you have not completed any work (lecture, presentation, thesis paper, essay,...) by the day of deregistration, you can deregister without any problems until the last day of the lecture period.

Please note that a deregistration after the performance of a service is only possible in special cases.
Furthermore, failure to perform a required service in the course without deregistration will be considered as "failed".
