On the 3rd of May, the International Graduate School of Neuroscience awarded the 4th NRW Undergraduate Award for an outstanding publication of an undergraduate.
Dr Jacob Simon, an assistant doctor at the University Clinic for Neurology in Tübingen, received the award for his work “Signalling Micro domains Regulate Inositol 1,4,5- Trisphosphate-Mediated Intracellular Calcium Transients in Cultured Neurons” (The Journal of Neuroscience, March 16, 2005: 2853-2864).

All award winners from the NRW Graduate Schools were presented with their prize in Düsseldorf by Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, the NRW Minister for Research. Our speaker, Prof. Onur Güntürkün delivered the laudation.

Many thanks to all of you that came to Düsseldorf. It was good to see the IGSN strongly represented.
