Mechanisms of perception, categorisation, memory and cognition
This year the SFB 874 and the IGSN invited 12 renowned scientists who showcased their research online on the 12th international IGSN-conference.
Five doctoral researchers from the IGSN and the SFB 874 competently hosted the event and introduced the scientific fields and our guests to the audience. You did a great job!
More than 150 doctoral researchers and guests attended the online lectures and the discussions in the brainstorming sessions.
The PhD candidates and speakers used the online format to have a lively scientific discussion, and even though we all lack personal contact, everyone was enthusiastic about the great interest of the PhD candidates and the scientific exchange. All PhD researchers had the possibility to converse with the guest speakers in "Gathertown" (a virtual room where people could meet, discuss and interact) on the evening of the first day. Last but not least the PhD candidates could finish the evening at the prepared gaming tables.
We would like to thank all participants for once again helping to make this conference such a stimulating and interesting occasion.
