03/02/2020 On 27th and 28th of February 2020, the kick-off event of the DFG-funded priority program "Adaptive modularized constructions made in flux" took place in the event centre of the Ruhr-University Bochum. About 60 researchers from the disciplines of structural engineering, industrial manufacturing, construction informatics, control engineering and mathematics came together. Important contents were the presentations on the 13 subprojects, the initiation of working groups and various organisational arrangements.
01/14/2020 In the current issue of BWI - BetonWerk International 6/2019 the DFG priority program 2187 is presented in a news article. The BWI is the German-language edition of the international journal series CPI - Concrete Plant International and reports practically on current/ developments and production technologies in the concrete and precast industry.
12/15/2019 Circular 263 (December 2019) of the Deutscher Beton- und Bautechnik-Verein e.V. (DBV) has been published, in which the contents and objectives of the SPP as well as the participating institutes are presented in a guest article entitled "Faster construction through intelligent prefabrication - the priority program 2187".
03/19/2019 Within the framework of the Deutscher Bautechnik-Tag in Stuttgart (07.03. & 08.03.2019), Prof. Mark gave a keynote speech on the objectives of the priority program in the so-called Arena. The ideas of a fast construction method with building structures made of adaptive individual modules produced in flow production met with great interest among the more than 1,500 participants from the construction industry, research and administrative institutions and engineering offices. The program is scheduled to start at the end of 2019.
07/10/2018 From the 10th to the 28th of September 2018, the Working Group Geometric Modelling and Visualisation of the TU Dresden will organise the Summer School "Line Geometry for Lightweight Structures" (LGLS). In interdisciplinary projects with international participants and speakers, the Summer School communicates current research from the SPP 1542 (Lightweight Structures with Concrete) and on the topic of robot technology in civil engineering.
03/20/2018 The German Research Foundation (DFG) is setting up 14 new priority programmes for 2019. One of these interdisciplinary programmes was initiated by Professors Peter Mark (RUB, Koordinator), Albert Albers (KIT), Markus König (RUB), Gisela Lanza (KIT) und Daniel Lordick (TU Dresden) and is entitled „Adaptive modularized constructions made in flux“.Presse release RUB, Press release DFG, Architekturblatt.
