Bochum

An industrial city in the vibrant Ruhr area which is a city of change from mining to education and innovation. Bochum is located at the edge of the Ruhr area and thus both the lively city as well as nature allows us to explore a vast diversity of attractions. During the stay you may want to visit one of the large football stadiums in Bochum, Leverkusen or Dortmund. The train museum or mining museum are amazing spots to dive deeper into the industrial history of the area and beyond. Also close by is Düsseldorf, which is even more international with a large Asian, especially Japan, community. The cities in the area invite you to walk through and enjoy the cultural diversity and attractions.
