Dear Colleagues
Since the first meeting in 2002 in Cassis (France), the OxiZymes meetings have been established as a platform for broad scientific discussions on the mode of action of oxidoreductases, mostly those employing molecular oxygen for their activity. Building on the success of the previous OxiZymes meetings (Cassis, Napoli, Oeiras, Helsinki, Leipzig, Marseille, Wien, Wageningen, Belfast, Siena, Lublin), OxiZymes in Bochum 2026 will emphasize the latest development in oxidoreductase research, including their discovery, structure and function, engineering, performance, and applications. The format of the conference is designed to be highly interactive and to provide ample time for stimulating discussions, interdisciplinary interactions and meetings alongside scientific sessions. The OxiZymes in Bochum 2026 conference will create a unique opportunity for researchers and academics to transfer knowledge and establish research collaborations.
In a good tradition we are happy to host along with the OxiZymes again a BioToP Session during the afternoon prior official conference start. We hope many people will already participate here and start the scientific discussion and networking activities.
Furthermore, our local research training group “MiCon” is in its final year. This we will celebrate with a symposium as a pre-conference to the OxyZymes.
