We from the Research Training Group MoNN&Di are pleased to announce our first international symposium "Current Perspectives in Neuroscience", which will take place on April 28-29, 2025, at the Ruhr University Bochum. This event will bring together leading scientists to discuss the latest advances, groundbreaking discoveries and future challenges in neuroscience.
Program Highlights
The symposium will feature an engaging scientific program, including keynote lectures by internationally renowned experts and poster sessions providing young researchers the opportunity to present their work and engage with peers and experts. As a Special Highlight, this symposium will honor and celebrate the work of Professor Petra Wahle, recognizing her significant contributions to neuroscience.
Call for Posters
We invite researchers from all fields of neuroscience to submit their work for presentation in the poster sessions*. These sessions offer a great opportunity to showcase research, receive valuable feedback and establish new collaborations.

Poster Setup:
Posters should be mounted on Monday between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Please ensure that your poster is in DIN A0 format and portrait orientation.
Presentation Schedule:
Posters will be presented on both days of the symposium. The poster session will last 1 hour in total, divided into two 30-minute slots:

Poster Award:
We are also pleased to announce that there will be a Poster Award for the most outstanding contributions. The winners will be selected by a committee and announced at the end of the symposium.
