Due to the large, open spaces, the rooms of the art collections of the Ruhr-Universität offer ideal conditions for holding diverse exhibitions on modern as well as ancient art. A particular attraction is the constant connection and juxtaposition of contemporary and ancient works of art, which show viewers the connections between human artistic creation over thousands of years.
