“Never before have I seen a stadium like that“, Joseph Blatter once said in his position as FIFA-President about the Stadium of Schalke 04. “This Stadium is a pilot project for the whole world.”
On a stadium tour of the most modern stadium in Europe visitors can admire the architectural masterpiece the “VELTINS Arena” from the inside.
More than 1 Million people have visited the Arena since its opening in 2001. The Highlights of the Tour are the extendable green, the “cabriolet” roof or the Video Cube. Visitors will also see the players‘ tunnel, the changing room, hospitality-areas, the VIP-Area, the media and press centre as well as the stadium chapel, that are normally not open to the public.
Visitors can enjoy the view from the tribune, as well as experience it, like the players, from the field. So don’t forget your cameras!
