The buildings of Ruhr University Bochum are generally open on the entire campus from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6.30 pm.
You can still leave the buildings after 6.30 p.m., but it is not possible to enter them after closing time.
The buildings are closed at weekends and on public holidays, the University Library is open daily (other libraries may have different opening hours).
The GABF and the HGB lecture halls are open for courses on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 6.30 pm. The entrances are located on levels 02 and 03 North and 05 South.
The Audimax, the Event Center (Veranstaltungszentrum) and the Music Center (Musisches Zentrum) are also exempt from the weekend regulations, where individual arrangements are possible on event days.
