RUBiss DAY TRIP TO BONN - HAUS DER GESCHICHTE
On the 26th October the interns of the RUBiss Team went together with 28 international students to the former capital of the German Federal Republic – Bonn.
There, the group visited at first the museum „Haus der Geschichte“ where they got an interactive and guided tour through the exhibition which shows the development and history of Germany after 1945. The exhibition is full of original pieces for example pieces of the Berlin wall or the original seats of the former council meeting hall of Bonn. During the guided tours in english and german, the students received a particular insight into the german history and all the interested questions could be answered.
After the cultural programme the group went to the old town of Bonn where they were able to enjoy the sunny autumn weather and explore the surroundings. One highlight for the students was the HARIBO store where they tasted and bought delicious wine gums!
