Integra programme for refugee prospective students

VISIT OF THE SITUATION KUNST WITH REFUGEE PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

On Tuesday, 27 November 2018, 17 participants* of the study preparatory programme "Integra" of Ruhr-Universität Bochum visited the museum “Situation Kunst” at the “Museum unter Tage” in Bochum Weitmar.

The Situation Kunst conducts free dialogues about art in simple German language for people with and without a migrant background. The participants* of the Integra programme discussed examples of classical, modern and sculptural art. Afterwards, a discussion with students of art history followed, during which the participants were given an insight into the study programme of art history at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.

The visitation of the Situation Kunst is part of a series of events organised by the Integra programme, in which the participants* are given an insight into the diversity of Ruhr-Universität's subjects by means of vivid examples. The excursion into the Situation Kunst was taken as an opportunity to introduce the participants* to the study programme of art history.
