Student assistant for the support and integration of refugees
Ruhr-Universität Bochum is committed to active and sustainable integration of refugees. We are convinced that academia and research have no boundaries and we gladly contribute to the culture of welcome. With "University without Borders", RUB has launched an extensive project to integrate refugees into studies and research.
The International Office of Ruhr-Universität, in cooperation with various partners, offers special preparatory courses called "Integra" refugees qualified to study, that combine a German language course with a propaedeutic programme. The International Office, together with the Admissions Office, offer special office hours for prospective student refugees.
As of August 2017, we are looking for a student assistant with very good knowledge of Arabic in order to support the academic counselling for refugees and the Integra programme. The regular weekly working time is 10 hours.
