Deutschlandstipendium at RUB
For the upcoming winter semester 2016/17 Ruhr-Universität is going to award scholarships again by the national scholarship programme called "Deutschlandstipendium". Students who perform outstandingly during their studies and are involved in social activities can be supported for one year with € 300 monthly by the Deutschlandstipendium.
This scholarship programme is addressed to international students as well!
The scholarships are funded by companies, institutions and individuals. The amounts are matched by funds from the national government.
This scholarship is intended to improve your study conditions. Ideally, it should allow you to concentrate completely on your studies.
To meet the eligibility requirements you should be able to prove your high academic achievements and be a regular student at the Ruhr-University. The criteria for selecting scholarship recipients also include social commitment and personal achievements.
Application deadline ends on May, 31 2016!
Please fill in your application form very carefully, since the given information will be considered as the basis for the final decision. Please note that the transcript of records and the number of ETCS credits are obligatory.
For the application you have to provide:
- Transcript of Records
- information regarding social commitment
- letter of motivation (max. 500 words)

Applications containing other supplements (e. g. internship certificates, letters of recommendation) will not be considered.
Online application will be available from April 18th till May 31st 2016.
The faculties and the Rectorate are responsable for the selection. You will either get an acceptance or a rejection latest until mid-Oct 2016.
