INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The Scholarship Fund is going into its fifth round: from the Winter Semester 2013/2014 we will once again be awarding scholarships from the national (Deutschlandstipendium) and state (NRW-Stipendium) scholarship programmes. Students who perform outstandingly academically and are involved in special social engagement can each receive € 300 per month for a year from the Ruhr-Universität Scholarship Fund.
The scholarships are made available by companies, institutions and individuals, and the amounts are matched by funds from the national and NRW governments. With the help of our sponsors, we want to contribute to developing a scholarship culture in our country and increasing the desire of talented young people to study.
This scholarship is intended to be a contribution to your living costs. Ideally, it should lead to your being able to concentrate on your studies and, for example, finance a year abroad. We want to improve your studying conditions with these scholarships.
