Erasmus+ Studies and Traineeships: Students Can Continue their Mobilities with Some Exceptions

Bochum students will be able to receive Erasmus+ funding for their studies and traineeships despite the upcoming Brexit.

If the UK will accept a deal before 31 October 2019, nothing will change until the end of the current program cycle (up to 2022).

If the UK leaves the EU with no deal before 31 October 2019, the EU will fund all mobilities which will have physically started by that day. This means that students will need to be studying at their partner universities or interning at their organizations by 31 October in order to get fully funded. If they meet this deadline, students will receive full funding in the winter term 2019/20.

We will continue to inform students and coordinators as soon as we have any updates.
