THINK will be built near other research institutions such as ZESS, the Horst Görtz Institute (HGI) and the MPI for Security and Privacy, which will all be located on the RUB technology campus that is emerging on the former Opel grounds Mark 51°7. Thereby, a strong scientific hub in the field of high technology is created, which will advance the structural changes necessary for the Ruhr area to become a leading site for science and technology.
