Profil

Gerhard Endress is Emeritus Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany, and a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences of North-Rhine-Westphalia. (Düsseldorf). His research interests include the intellectual history of mediaeval Islam, Arabic literature and especially the reception of Greek philosophy and science in the Arabic Islamic milieu.
