Visit to Zeche Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage, 13th May 2017, 11:30 AM

The guided tour will show you Zeche Zollverein, once known as the greatest industrial site of Europe, which has been part of UNESCO world heritage since 2001. Zollverein is regarded as a masterpiece of industrial architecture. With its winding tower it has become a symbol for the economic, social and cultural change of the entire Ruhr Valley. Every year about 1.5 million guests from all over the world come to Zollverein which houses various cultural events, opportunities for free time activities and an academy of arts as well as many young enterprises.
The guided tour will start at 1:00 pm in Zeche Zollverein and will take 2 hours. After that it is open to you to visit the art gallery on your own or to head back with us to Bochum.

Price: 4,50 €*

Registration by: 5th of May 2017 in person in the International Lounge or via our registration form (places are limited).
Eligible to participate are international researchers and Ph.D. students and their family.

*For all events which require a financial contribution from the participants: the price must be paid in advance in the International Lounge before the registration deadline.
