International Women's Exchange: Driving Simulator, Tuesday 2/2/2016, 5pm

With the “International Women’s Exchange” the Welcome Centre regularly organizes events exclusively for women. These events offer international researchers and spouses travelling with them the opportunity to exchange their experiences and to make new contacts. In addition to that, you will learn more about German culture and customs as well as about leisure time activities in our region. The languages of the events are English and German and the topics are very diverse. Children are welcome.

This time we are going to visit RUB’s Chair of Embedded Systems and learn about their driving simulator. With this simulator a variety of new technological systems is being researched, for example Car2Car Communication and new Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. After a short introduction in English you can try out this unique device yourself and test cutting-edge technology researched at RUB.
