Excursion to „Burg Altena“; 25th of April 2015, 11:00 am
Visit Burg Altena with us! The castle was built in the 12th century on a picturesque hill above Altena, a small city on the banks of Lenne river. Learn more about the history of the castle and the region during two English-speaking guided tours between which you can choose: “Guided Tour Through the Permanent Exhibition” (General history of the castle) and “Women’s History” (Lives of Women in the castle and the surrounding area in different social classes).
International students will join us on this trip.
Please note: If you intend to bring children with you, separate tickets for all children must be bought. Please remember to bring suitable safety seats for the bus trip to ensure your children’s safety.
Places on the bus are limited. Make sure to register as early as possible if you are interested in this excursion.
