International Women's Exchange

We cordially invite you to the next International Women's Exchange.

We organise a monthly meeting for women to promote social and cultural exchange and help newcomers settle in. All women with an international background can attend this event and it is held in English and German.
Children are welcome.

Friday 9 November 2012, 4:00pm
Ikebana: The Japanese art of flower arranging
Meeting Place: International Lounge (Mensa building)

About the topic: This time we will invite an Ikebana artist for a two-hour-long workshop. In general, an Ikebana arrangement has two functions: It should bring nature into the life of human beings and represent cosmic order. Different styles have emerged during the course of history. The Ikebana artist will introduce you to the world of Ikebana and help you create your first Ikebana arrangement.

All of the meetings will focus on the topic of cultural diversity. Please take a look at the current announcements online for more information about the topics.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you on Friday and hope to make it a great afternoon.

Registration: Via email by 2 November 2012 at the latest!

The International Women's Exchange takes place on the first Friday of every month at 4:00pm.

Next dates:
