The rectorate of the Ruhr Universität Bochum and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation presented the lecture of
Professor Dr. Jürgen Margraf
Laureate of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
The title of the lecture is:
"When Panic Strikes: Understanding and Treating Anxiety Disorders”
The lecture will be given on Thursday, 3rd February 2011.
Professor Dr. Jürgen Margraf was awarded the Alexander von Humboldt Professorship in 2009. He is currently holding the chair in Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Ruhr Universität Bochum. The internationally well-known psychologist and specialist for anxiety and panic disruption is actually constructing a mental-healthcare centre at the Ruhr Universität Bochum.
The Secretary General of the Humboldt Foundation, Dr. Enno Aufderheide, and other Humboldt fellows and awardees, hosts, alumni and members of the Humboldt Foundation´s selection committees are expected.
