International Students' Day 13th May 2020
The International Students' Day is taking place for the second time this semester - this year digital!
The summer semester 2020 is a new challenge for everyone: Suddenly lectures are taking place online, new platforms are being used and fellow students are far away. The International Students' Day is supposed to help you to find your way around the "home office" better and to give you support. We have the following workshops in our program:
Library introductions with staff of the University Library (in German and English), a workshop especially for first-year students "How to survive the online semester", a lively lunch break with university sports, an info session on the topic "Going Abroad as an International Student" and an info session with the psychological counselling service of the Central Student Advisory Office. Because we all know that this new situation can be challenging and we want to support you in the best possible way!
The crowning finale of the day will be a "Get together" via the platform Jitsi, where you can meet and exchange ideas with your international committee* and your campus guides in video chats!
