Intercultural Week 2017

Intercultural Week – Looking for Support

Dear students, dear Integra participants,

From 24 -29 September 2017, the intercultural week takes place in Bochum and the International Office of Ruhr-Universität will be part of it!

Thanks to you, the university is a diverse place and many different nations are represented. We would therefore like to contribute to the Intercultural Week together with you, thus drawing attention to the beautiful aspects of interculturalism.

We need your support!

Who would like to support the event and tell the citizens of Bochum about your country / German courses / studies on 29 September between 2 pm and 6 pm? We will have an information stand where we are available as contact persons and perhaps offer small games or other offers about your countries / cultures.

You are warmly invited to come to the International Office on 24 August and plan the event together with us!

When? Wednesday, 20th September, 2pm
Where? SSC 1/263

What is Intercultural Week?

“Diversity connects ...” is the motto of the intercultural week (IKW) 2017, which starts on 24 September. The future of our society lies in the diversity that has grown over generations in Germany. The IKW provides an opportunity to oppose racist and nationalist tendencies and to discuss how we want to develop society on the basis of basic and human rights.
