European Evening
Europa erleben – Experience Europe! Within this theme, the International Office in cooperation with the AKAFÖ and ESN Bochum invited to the “European Evening” on 17 May 2017.
In order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ERASMUS programme, around 250 guests came to experience a colorful cultural evening with delicious food, music and dancing in the Bistro of the Mensa.
In many different games, the guests could test knowledge of Europe, for example, in a European quiz and a European Memory game. The European buffet offered delicacies from Sweden, Poland, Italy and Germany. Afterwards, the floor was taken at the Balfolk and Salsa wokshops.
The first ERASMUS portraits were presented in a poster exhibition. Many visitors also told us their favorite recipe from their ERASMUS time and reveled in their culinary memories.
Equipped with many different European accessories, the guests photographed themselves in the photo box and took home their own personal memory of a great "European Evening".
Throughout the year, the International Office will present you a wide range of events and activities on ERASMUS and Europe.
