Services for Refugees: Start of Application Period Integra-12

Ruhr-Universität Bochum welcomes you to Germany and hopes to help provide a pleasant start to your life in Bochum.

In summer term 2017 the International Office and the Offices of Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF) offer again the successful "Integra-12" programme. This programme includes free German beginner courses as well as other events for refugee prospective students.

Participation is reserved for prospective student refugees who have obtained their university entrance certificate (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung) either in Germany or in their home country.

Application is possible during the consultation hours for refugees in the International Office Tuesdays 10am-12pm and Thursdays 2-4pm from 2 February to 14 March.

Please bring any and all school, college and university certificates in the original and an officially certified translation in German, Englisch, or French with you as well as copies of your German residence status documents (BüMa, Residence permission, etc.).

Ask for a ticket at the reception on the ground floor – SSC 0. Your ticket number will appear on the monitor in the waiting areas, when it is your turn. You will receive your application form during the consultation hours for refugees in the International Office. You will then hand in your certificates and application documents in the admission office.

After a successful participation in the Integra-12 programme you have the chance to participate in the intensive Integra-24 German courses.

Given the high demand for the German courses of the Integra programme, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a placement in Integra-12 for all applicants. A certain selection procedure will decide on the applications.
