Welcome of international students
This winter semester, Ruhr-Universität Bochum was fortunate enough to welcome many new international students. At the “International Welcome” about 350 new international students were welcomed by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Professional Development at RUB, Prof. Dr Kornelia Freitag, Monika Sprung, director of the International Office, and the RUBiss-Team. The evening was accompanied by music from Tom Frost. Afterwards, our new international students were able to get information about RUB and its different facilities, as well as RUB’s offers for international students.
After the successful “International Welcome” at RUB, the mayor of Bochum, Thomas Eiskirch, wants to welcome all new international students at the town hall during a gentle reception on November 18, 2016 at 6 pm. All new international students are welcome to attend this reception. Registration is possible until November 09.
