Become a Refugee Buddy
The AStA of the Ruhr-University is looking for students, wanting to participate in the project „Gemeinsam-Studies für Flüchtlinge“. As a Refugee Buddy, students get in touch with RUB’s refugees participating in the Integra-Project. They may help them for example to find study programs. Besides the usual life at the university, activities like sports, music and cooking play a very important role.
When participating as a “Refugee Buddy+”, students develop and organize own project in groups. Furthermore, Refugee Buddies+ help in the “Integra-Sprachcafé”. A successful project and its documentation count as a 5 CP internship in the Optionalbereich (Berufsfeldpraktikum).
