Campus Guides+ wanted for winter term 2015/16!
The International Office is looking for interns who will work as Campus Guides+ and assist international students making their first steps at Ruhr-Universität in winter term 2015/16.
As a Campus Guide+, you will assist a group of new international students during their first semester at RUB and during the Orientation Week (October 12-16 2015). You will help your fellow students from abroad to get orientated at RUB and faciliate the beginning of their studies. Furthermore you will get an insight of the work in the International Office and assist at organising events.
Being a Campus Guide+ helps you to improve your intercultural and language skills and get to know new cultures. You are going to be an important contact for your foreign fellow students by offering practical assistance and acting as a contact to the German culture and language.
Before starting the internship you will take part in an obligatory training/workshop. The internship implies 150 working hours that can be credited for 5 CP within the so-called Optionalbereich. More information about the internship can be found on the right side. The information are given in German language only as a certain level is required to take the internship.
