Welcome of international students
This semester, Ruhr-Universität Bochum was fortunate enough to welcome many new international students. At the “International Welcome” about 350 new international students were welcomed by the rector of the RUB, Prof. Dr. Elmar Weiler, the head of the International Office, Monika Sprung, the RUBiss Team, accompanied by music from Tom Frost and Doc Shuffle. Afterwards, the new international students were able to get information about RUB, the different facilities of RUB and RUB’s offer for international students.
After the successful “International Welcome” at RUB, the mayor of Bochum, Dr. Ottilie Scholz, wants to welcome all new international students at the town hall on November 21st 2014 at 6 pm during a gentle reception. All new international students are welcome to attend this reception.
