RUBiss international student services hosted a cultural event in the Euroeck on Monday 16 January. The Russian tutors from the International Office and other Russian students organised an evening with music, dancing, videos, information, food and drink. Guests were able to try Russian specialties such as herring salad and filled pancakes or “borszcz”, whilst the tutors talked about their home towns in Russia. Guests also got to know some Russian sayings and superstitions during the vodka quiz.
The event was a great success, and it was just as entertaining as it was informative! Thanks again to the organisers!
