The Intercultural Week will take place from 23 to 29 September 2018 within the theme "diversity unites".
In addition to daily events, such as communal lunches or an English reading lesson, visitors will be presented with exciting offers that approach the topic of interculturalism from different perspectives.
What are the causes of migration in Africa? Do women ride bicycles in Syria? How can an interreligious dialogue develop between Jewish and newly immigrated residents? Answers to these and more questions can be found in various discussion groups, readings or lectures.
The Sprachcafé also opens its doors to Bochum's citizens during the intercultural week. The Language Café will take place on Monday, 24. September 18 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Max-Kade-Hall (Laerholzstr. 82, 44801 Bochum).
