EUSA_ID 2nd Call for Applications for european PhD students for a research stay in South Africa

The second call for applications for EUSA_ID scholarships is now open until 28 february 2015.

EUSA_ID is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project, linking European and South African universities focussing on thematic fields related to Development Studies.

It is coordinated by Ruhr-University Bochum and co-coordinated on the South African side by the University of the Western Cape (UWC). Overall the consortium consists of 6 South African and 8 European Higher Education Institutions and is supported by 3 associated partners.
European PhD candidates are invited to apply for a research stay (10-24 months) at one of the South African partner universities (UCT, UWC (both Cape Town), KwaZulu Natal (Durban), Nelson Mandela Metropolitan (Port Elisabeth), Fort Hare (Alice) and Limpopo).

South African Master and PhD candidates and staff are invited to apply for a mobility period at one of the 8 European EUSA_ID partner universities!
The scholarships for PhD students are generous (1500 Euro monthly, plus insurance coverage, return ticket and participation cost (3000 Euro annually)).
