Japanese Week at RUB
From Nov. 21st until Nov. 25th, RUB will hold the Japanese Week.
The Japanese Week at RUB is part of the series of events "Japanese Weeks at German Universities" by the "Hochschulrektorenkoferenz (HRK)" and is held as part of the events celebrating "150 years of friendship Germany-Japan".
The Japanese Week at RUB was orignially meant to take place in May, yet was rescheduled as a sign of respect towards the Japanese partners after the earhquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster hit Japan.
Against this background the Japanese Week is now more than ever to strengthen RUB's partnerships with Japanese Universities, the cooperative research and the exchange of students and researchers.
The programme will amongst others include a disciplinary and an interdisciplinary symposium and an information day where different organisations will present their activties with Japan. In addition, an extensive cultural programme will be organised.
