PROMOS 2019: New Submission Deadline for Scholarships to Stay Abroad
In the framework of the scholarship programme PROMOS, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Ruhr-Universität Bochum annually awards grants to increase the international student mobility. In order to give more students the opportunity to realise an excursion or stay abroad (be it for studies, an internship or their thesis), four years ago the RUB rectorate decided to double the funds for the support of student mobility by RUB-internal quality improvement funds annually. As a consequence the chances of success have improved notably.
Free to apply are students of all departments who are planning a study abroad semester in the winter term 2019/20 within a RUB exchange programme (except for Erasmus), a stay abroad in order to write their thesis or in order to do an internship (except for Erasmus member states), starting between 1 April 2019 and 31 December 2019.
Please hand in your application until 5 March 2019, 4pm at the International Office (SSC 1/224, attn. Anika odenbach).
