VULCANUS: Industrial Placements in Japan
VULCANUS is a trainee programme funded by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation that has been offering students from EU/COSME countries internships in Japan since 1997. From September 2017 to August 2018, participants will attend a one-week introductory seminar on Japan, a four-month intensive Japanese language course and conduct an eight-month long traineeship. Eligible for funding are EU/COSME nationals who are currently enrolled in at least the fourth year of an engineering or science degree course. Application deadline is 20 January 2017.
VULCANUS includes a grant of 1,900,000 yen (approximately 16,500 €) for the entire year.
