Turkish Week
Studying abroad in Turkey for one or two semesters - a common desire of many students at RUB. But how can I organise a study abroad stay in Turkey? What are the possibilities for grants? These questions will be answered at the end of October during the Turkish Week.
On 28 and 29 October 2014, students, researchers and employees can get to know interesting facts about the country, about studying in Turkey and about the university scene in Turkey. On each day, the International Office, representatives of Turkish partner universities, students from the RUB who have studied abroad in Turkey and Turkish students who are currently studying at RUB will inform students interested in gaining study abroad experience in Turkey. The "Landesspracheninstitut" (LSI) und the "Zentrum für Fremdsprachenausbildung" (ZFA) will present their language courses, the "ZFA" will offer 45 minute long intensive Turkish language classes on both days.
Furthermore, presentations, a panel discussion, workshop, and a poster exhibition addressing Turkey related topics will be hold. In addition, some cultural events will take place. Turkish food and snacks will be offered by the AKAFÖ in the Mensa.
