Study at the German University in Cairo
Students from German universities can apply for a semester abroad at the German University in Cairo (GUC) until 30 September 2012. The students will study at GUC during the Summer Semester 2013 (February - June 2013). All tuition fees will be waived.
The GUC was founded in 2003 with the support of the state universities in Stuttgart, Ulm and Tübingen. 8,500 students are currently enrolled on the following degree programmes: Media and Information Technology, Materials Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Management, Design and Architecture. All courses are taught in English. International students may also attend Arabic language courses.
Students can submit applications to RUB's International Office until 30 September 2012. You need to submit the following documents:
- Student application form
- Covering letter (in English)
- CV (in English)
- Copy of your passport
- Copy of your birth certificate
- Current certificate of enrolment
- Transcript of records (in English)
- Language certificate (DAAD Language Certificate)
