Going Abroad

Would you like to spend a semester abroad on Australia's exciting East Coast or in one of Spain's picturesque cities? Maybe you'd prefer an internship in a foreign company? Whatever your preferences, both of these are options you can consider if you are thinking about going abroad during your studies. If you would like to find out more about ways you can spend time abroad during higher education, you are welcome to attend one of the International Office's information events which will take place during the Summer Semester 2012. Here is a list of the different events, along with dates and locations:

17 April 2012, HZO 90: RUB'S Exchange and Scholarship Programmes
9 May 2012, HZO 100: Studying in Australia and the USA
14 June 2012, HZO 90: RUB's Exchange and Scholarship Programmes
4 July 2012, HZO 100: ERASMUS Semesters and Internships Abroad

Each event starts at 12:00pm and ends at 2:00pm and students from all departments and year groups can attend. RUB students who have already studied abroad will be present to talk about their experiences and answer any questions you may have.

The International Office is also hosting an additional event on 18 April 2012 between 12:00 and 2:00pm in the building HZO 100. This event is aimed at all students intending to study or carry out an internship in the US during the academic year 2012/13, and will provide information and helpful hints about how to apply for a student visa.
