Study Abroad via ERASMUS Mundus MULTIC in Russia

As a member of the ERASMUS Mundus Action 2 Consortium "Multidisciplinary capacity-building for an imrpoved economic, political and university co-operation between the European Union and the Russian Federation" (MULTIC) Ruhr-Universität Bochum may send students to Russia.

12 Russian universities located in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ufa or Irkutsk amongst others are members of the consortium. RUB students of all faculties may apply for one or two semesters abroad (5 to 10 months) at one of those institutions of higher education. Ph.D. students may apply for a research visit lasting 6 to 36 months. All tuition and fees charged by the Russian member universities will be fully reimbursed. Additionally, grantees receive a monthly subsistence allowance of € 1,000 (Ph.D. students receive € 1,500) per month. The consortium also takes care of the travel expenses - these depend on the distance between home and host university and may range from € 250 to € 2,500 - and health, accident and private liability insurance.
