Internship in India
You would like to intern in India and support a good cause at the same time? Then Prime Trust is the right place for you. This Indian non-governmental organisation, which is based in Puducherry in South India, has vacancies in various project areas all year round. It is Prime Trust's aim to support women's empowerment through microfinance. Thus, Prime Trust is involved in the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and acts as an intermediary between these SHGs and banks.
Internships last between 1 and 6 months. On the one hand, students work in Prime Trust's administration and in the marketing as well as public relations department. On the other hand, they visit SHGs regularly, teach English and help at the orphanage. Additionally interns have the possibility to do thesis research at Prime Trust. Accommodation is available.
Internships and thesis research is eligible for the PROMOS Scholarship Programme.
