Objectives:
Within this work package the software model and its formal specification is defined based on the requirements of the multi-core systems. Model will have sufficient details in order to comprehensively cover architecture, design and code generation requirements as defined for typical Model Driven Development (MDD) projects. The final goal is to address issues unique to multi-core technology through use of the platform adaptation layer of the modelling tool. Extending multi-core support to the modelling language (SDL) will be done as a last resort, in case the underlying platform issues aren’t easily resolved at the platform level.
