By underground

The underground (line U35, direction "Hustadt\/Ruhr-Universität") is a quick and easy way to get from Bochum Central Station to the Ruhr-Universität. The U35 runs every 5 minutes during rush hour and takes about 10 minutes to get to the Ruhr-Universität stop. You will need a fare stage A ticket, which must be stamped before the start of the journey (at the entrances and exits of the underground).
