Project   ELLI

ELLI – Excellent Teaching and Learning in Engineering Sciences – is a cooperative project of the Ruhr-University Bochum, the RWTH Aachen University and the Technical University Dortmund. Within a common initiative of the German Federal Government and the individual states for enhancing studying conditions and the quality of teaching, the project receives a financial support of 11 Million Euros over a period of five years. After the success of "TeachING-LearnING.EU", with Elli the three Universities start off with a new cooperation experience.

The project started in October 2011. At the Ruhr-University, it is situated within the faculty of Mechanical Engineering, at the chair of Solids Process Engineering. Together with the office for professional training (IFB), ELLI aims at the implementation of measures for a further development of teaching in engineering sciences.
