Short Bio

Nav is a doctoral researcher working on formal epistemology, logic, and general philosophy of science. Her dissertation project, titled “Creative Abduction and the Pursuit-Worthiness of Research Trajectories: An Optimality-Based Framework for Rational Research Allocation,” investigates the normative criteria governing early-stage scientific inquiry. By synthesizing optimality-theoretic frameworks with adaptive logics and means-end epistemology, my research develops a formal model to assess how cognitive resources and methodological pursuit-worthiness should be rationally allocated under conditions of deep epistemic uncertainty.
