2nd Block Course of CRC 1625 Research Training Group

The second block course of the CRC 1625 RTG took place successfully in a hybrid format, allowing more than 30 members and interested participants to join in. This session featured two insightful lectures delivered by the Principal Investigators of projects A05/INF and A06. Prof. Dr. Markus Stricker shared his expertise on Materials Informatics, offering valuable foundations and perspectives on data-driven materials research. Prof. Dr. Maribel Acosta followed with an engaging talk on Knowledge Graphs, introducing core concepts and current research developments in this rapidly evolving field. The combination of both topics provided participants with a broad and inspiring overview of both methods in materials science. The interactive discussions highlighted the strong interdisciplinary spirit of the CRC 1625 and contributed to a successful continuation of the block course series.
