Starting at the main train station in Bochum, take the subway line U35 to "Hustadt", alighting at the stop "Ruhr-Universität" (the ticket you need is "Preisstufe A".) The travelling time from the main train station to the University is about 10 mins. At the subway stop go up the steps, then to your right. Cross the bridge and carry on past the university library and take a left turn down the steps next to the Audimax. Then carry on walking until you reach the third building on your right-hand side. This is the NC Building and our department is on the 7th floor.
Motorists can get to the University via the main road "Universitätsstrasse". Take the exit "Uni-Mitte" and keep to the far right side of the exit. Drive down past the underground car parks. At the end of the street, turn left and, at the other end of the car park, turn right, which takes you into the "N-Südstrasse". Follow this street until you reach the third building on the left-hand side. This is the NC Building (look out for the yellow bridges!) and our department is on the 7th floor. If you would like to park your car, you can park in the underground car park and walk to NC.
